When I first started reading about cyber culture I did not think it had influenced my life in any way. I never get online and communicate through group discussions on AIM but I do meet a lot of new people on Facebook. I meet them through common interests like favorite movies or favorite music. You can also meet other Christians or other people from Purdue Calumet. I actually met my current boyfriend through facebook. We became friends through Facebook and that led to telephone conversations and meeting in person. Some people think that online is a stupid way to meet people but it's really not that bad. I wouldn't have even known my boyfriend now existed.
Many good things can come from cyber culture. I do not participate in group discussions through AIM but it could be a good way to talk to fellow Christians or even help someone to become a Christian. I had a friend I was talking to through AIM and we had a long discussion about becoming a Christian and he was baptized the next day. I definitely think cyber culture is a good way to spread God's word throughout the world, especially to my generation.

Cyberculture can be a good way to help fellow christains. It can also be a way for sick and discusting human beings to try and find unsuspecting individuals lure them into their on personal web of deceit and cause harm to them. I think it's great that you have had good experiences with cyberculter.Some people are not that lucky.
