Technology has definitely had an impact on my life. I am now able to talk to friends that I new when I went to elementary school and worked with; even talk to people I've never met. I've met some of the friends I now spend time with through the computer. Cell phones are also a part of this technology. I spend a lot of time on the phone with friends I live too far away from and a lot of people today use texting or AIM on their cell phones. This technology has given us all new ways to communicate instead of only talking in person. Now we have cameras on the computer so that you can talk to someone as if they were right there. This new technology is very interesting. Technology is everywhere, it is our cars, our phones, our computers, our televisions, etc. I don't know one person who hasn't been influenced by technology. As time goes on I can't even imagine what new things these "nerds" are going to come up with. I'm definitely not one of them but I'm glad there are smarter people out there who can create such interesting things so that our society can benefit from there intelligence.

Technology is everywhere we go in today's society. I can agree with you about the fact of having smarter people keeping up with today's times. We also have people who are just like you and I.If you look at the people who came up with my space they were just two regular people. Thats amazing that regular people came up with a website that is so popular.
Your definetaly right when it comes to technology being everywhere in today's modern society. I too use my cell phone frequently because I also have friends and family who are far away. So communicating through modern technology has been a great source to keep friends and family close.
I think the newest thing the nerds are coming up with is expansions in virtual reality. Virtual worlds such as Kaneeva and Second Life are rapidly blurring the line between this world and the 3D world. I know that sounds "out there," but in Second Life, there are universities holding classes and businesses (such as IBM) making deals. Financially, Second Life trades with the Linden Dollar, which is exchangeable with the American dollar. There have also been real life court cases involving the stealing of "objects" within Second Life that run into copyright law. Freaky, huh?
You are right; everyone had been influenced by technology. I neither think too much nor too deep about it. Your opinion is very positive. When I saw the topic, the first two things come up with are cell phone and computer. There are still many things have big influence in my life, but the biggest influence is from the technology. And right, we need to thanks to those talented people who invest those interesting thing to reduce the bored.
